General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Effective 25th May 2018.  

GDPR is a new piece of legislation aimed at putting you the customer in a more informed position regarding how companies obtain your personal data, how they store this data and how they market to you.  The two documents accessible below are Basil James Financial Services’ Data Privacy Notice (DPN) and Sesame’s Data Privacy Notice, who are our network provider with whom we share some of your data.  These DPNs explain how Sesame and ourselves obtain, use and share your data. Please read both documents and if you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask us to explain. We’ll be happy to reassure you on how we’re implementing the new GDPR rules and how they affect you. There’s a section in both DPN’s which outlines how Sesame and ourselves use your data to market to you.
